Well, here we are.
A full year later and the 4th and final edition of That’s My Jam is finally here. Which is both exciting and bittersweet at the same time (what will I do with my weekends now that I don’t have countless batches of jam to make? Don’t worry, I’ll think of something).
It’s been a blast, truly, and I am so proud of what I have created. So many of you have been inspired to start canning or step outside your canning comfort zone, and that makes this whole thing worthwhile.
(And don’t miss out! I’m giving away 5 sets of signed cookbooks, including the entire That’s My Jam bundle along with my two print cookbooks. Enter before 3/20 for your chance to win!)
Anyway, back to spring. Of course, as I write this Mother Nature decided to throw us for a loop and dump a blizzard on Nashville today. It’s fine, I can deal with the occasional snow, so long as it doesn’t mess with strawberry season (it has been particularly warm the past few weeks and I fear for those baby plants that might have flowered early). The anticipation of strawberry season is pretty much all that gets me through the winter months.
SPRING is, not surprisingly, all about the strawberries, and you’ll definitely see that reflected in these recipes. That said, it’s not ALL strawberry recipes, as spring also brings with it rhubarb, kiwis, apricots, fresh flowers and herbs. If you time it right you can also combine the first fruits of spring with the last citrus of winter, making for some truly delightful jam combinations.
Whether you are an experienced canner or a novice just getting started, this ebook is for you. There’s no better feeling than a pantry overflowing with delicious homemade jams, jellies, and preserves.
