  17. I always make big pans of brownies and cut them into small squares to make brownie bites. I’m also planning on making something, I think it’s called Elf Treats – graham crackers soaked in a butter and brown sugar syrup. Should be called Elf Crack instead, LOL!

  21. First up, Meyer lemon crinkle cookies then perhaps my hubby’s favorite molasses cookies. But the absolute must is the orange hazelnut buche de noel for Christmas Eve.

  24. Lemon Ricotta cookies, fudge that I put into cupcake liners and can bag as individual gift(great for bake sales too). Gingerbread pizzelles, and a number of Polish and Italian cookies.

I want to try out a couple of bar cookie recipes from Smitten Kitchen’s new cookbook, and then I’ll probably be making the chocolate toffee and chocolate thumbprint cookies I make every year. Plus *more* chocolate cookies and brigaderios (look it up, they’re amaaaazing) for my grandma. And then the chocolate chip coffee cake (also from Smitten Kitchen) that I make every year for the weekend after Christmas. There will be much destressing in the kitchen this year.
