Oh man, so many recipes. I want to try out a couple of bar cookie recipes from Smitten Kitchen’s new cookbook, and then I’ll probably be making the chocolate toffee and chocolate thumbprint cookies I make every year. Plus *more* chocolate cookies and brigaderios (look it up, they’re amaaaazing) for my grandma. And then the chocolate chip coffee cake (also from Smitten Kitchen) that I make every year for the weekend after Christmas. There will be much destressing in the kitchen this year.

I always look forward to making Pecan Tassies with my mom each Christmas. This year, I am also trying out: Andes Mint Brownies, and Salted Peanut Bars!
I always make big pans of brownies and cut them into small squares to make brownie bites. I’m also planning on making something, I think it’s called Elf Treats – graham crackers soaked in a butter and brown sugar syrup. Should be called Elf Crack instead, LOL!
