Giveaway: Win a Year’s Supply of Whole Wheat Pasta from DeLallo

DeLallo Whole Wheat Pasta Giveaway

Following on the heels of the delicious, healthy(ish) macaroni and cheese recipe I posted yesterday, I wanted to share with you my new favorite (or, actually, ONLY favorite) whole wheat pasta from DeLallo, and give you a chance to win a whole bunch for yourself. It really is incredible how much it doesn’t taste like whole wheat (and, in my mind, that is the key). Swap it out for your regular semolina pasta and your family will be none the wiser.

DeLallo has generously offered up this ultimate “Pasta Lover’s” gift set (valued at over $250) to one lucky L&OO reader! In addition to a year’s supply of DeLallo’s Organic Whole Wheat Pasta (that’s 52 bags!) you’ll also receive this gorgeous Mercer Serving Bowl and this Olive Wood Pasta Rake. I want a pasta rake!

A pretty awesome prize, if I do say so myself.

Click through for your chance to win!

It”s so tasty that I like to serve it with a simple vegetable sauce, using whatever is in season, I particularly love courgettes and fresh tomatoes.

What really complements the whole wheat flavor is roasted root vegetables (beets, onions, sweet potatoes, sunchokes) with olive oil, salt & pepper, rosemary. Throw them all together with the whole wheat pasta and top with another drizzle of olive oil and some great parmesan or pecorino romano cheese. Earthy flavors at their best.

I’ve had it in restaurants…but have been too afraid to it at home, thinking that it won’t satisfy the family. (So the unopened box of supermarket brand sits in the pantry.) The first thing I’d do with DeLallo? I’d pop a cube of my frozen summer pesto into it and give it a test run myself!
