Spice Islands Flavor Explorer Giveaway

And for our fellow spice-fiends, we’ve got a special giveaway just for you, courtesy of Spice Islands®!

One lucky winner will receive a set of 15 of our favorite Spice Islands® products, including Vanilla Extract, Cinnamon, Whole Nutmeg, Ground Chipotle, Ground Ginger, Fine Sea Salt, Fennel Seed, Thyme, Sweet Basil, Italian Herb Seasoning Blend, Thai Seasoning Blend, Bay Leaves, Beau Monde Seasoning, Dill, and Poppy Seed. Some of these, such as the Ground Chipotle (featured in the Double Chocolate Chipotle Cookies, above) can be hard to find but so worth it. Others, like the Fine Sea Salt, are pretty much used every day in our kitchen (we use this interchangeably with kosher salt in both cooking and baking). While we love creating our own spice combinations, we find ourselves drawn to the perfect seasoning blends (such as the Italian and Thai blends) for quick weeknight meals. Along with kitchen staples like Cinnamon, Bay Leaves, and Vanilla Extract, this would be a great starter set for someone new to cooking, or quality replacements for those old and dried-out spices you’ve got in your cupboard.

So, what are you waiting for?

Giveaway is now closed. Thanks for entering!

The fine print: No purchase necessary. Giveaway open to US residents only. Void where prohibited. Giveaway sponsored by Spice Islands®. We are proud to have partnered with Spice Islands for this project. All opinions expressed are our own.

I am sorry i will lose this contest because i dont have a popular spice or herb besides salt and pepper( which isn’t it), i cook two meals a day lunch and supper for my family and i can honestly say they are all popular. over a week i will use at least 20 different spices, for different meals , for eg. tonight will be fried chicken with coleslaw, gravy, french fries , none of my meals are machine or corprate foods and there isn’t a dish i cannot make so i need them all…

so they want a favorite i would say fenugreek becaouse when i combine my spices for chicken, the fenugreek allows my chicken to have a lure or a carry on the air , i love when neighbors say they can smell my chicken down the street and it smells awsome.. so fenugreek is it, but as for a common mostly used? ALL of them..you people only use 5 spices tops, not me .. i use an average of 10.. in a meal .. i am not your average home cook nor am i a chef, i just have a natural talent for cooking and spice mixing … I think it.. it happens.. i created bqq stew and it is not bbq sauce and stew mixed together… it is a combo of many spices that give it a unique taste one of the ingredients is apple juice and chipolte… by D.WILSON (super genius that doesn’t care if its spelt wrong)LOL any of you other ladies want to throw down its on, my recipe against yours good luck .. winner gets a smiley face and internet bragging rights…
