    i’ll be making real gingerbread, the cake type with molasses and lots of fresh ginger. as well as almond-clementine cake, all with almond flour so it’s gluten free!

    I am starting to begin some holiday cookie traditions with my husband and I, who have been married for 2 years. Chocolate peppermint crackles, caramel shorbread cookies, and some sort of eggnog cookie. :)

    On my goodie list of things to make for the holidays is a variety of fudge recipes, sugar cookies and chocolate chip cookies, candied pecans, peanut brittle, divinity, potato candy, martha washington balls, peppermint bark, 14 layer fudge cake, and red velevet cookies and brownies.

    I’m making cinnamon rolls, and roasting a turkey. We are going home for a wedding so will not be able to go back for Christmas. A chopped salad of cauliflower and broccoli, and sherbet for dessert.

    Hooray! I’m going to make peppermint bark this year for gifts (as always) and also try my hand at a corn syrup-free peanut brittle! We’re hosting Christmas Day, as well, so I’m thinking of making a few quiches and salads for a mid-day meal.
