I will be making sugar cookies, haystacks, and my great grandma’s fruitcake recipe. I already made pumpkin banana bread with chocolate chips.

A new baby has forced me to curtail my usual holiday cooking, but if I have time, I’ll add some fudge, chocolate chocolate chip cookies with cherries or cranberries, and/or some gingerbread. If I feel *really* ambitious and have someone willing to help, I’ll make my grandma’s apple strudel!

Today I begin my holiday baking with Italian Nutbread. My daughters and I will be baking all day and into the evening to finish all of the 14 or so loaves. I’ll also be making buckeyes, butterballs, peanut butter kisses, iced anise cookies, pfefferneusse, gingerbread cutouts, toffee bars, pizzelles, and sugar cookies. If I have time I’ll also make 1 or 2 types of biscotti. I think that’s everything. Wow, I’m tired already just from thinking about it. :)
