FYI, and for anyone else curious, I found an amazing recipe for jellied cranberry sauce. It was a hit at thanksgiving this year!

I think the key is that the only added ingredient to the basic cranberry sauce is one chopped up apple--the pectin binds everything together (just like in jelly), and you end up with delicious, molded apple cran sauce

Very interesting! YUM! I too made cranberry sauce. It was amazing. However, I #1 failed to get a photo, and #2 have no idea what I did, because basically I began to follow another blogger's recipe, and it was.not.good, so I totally changed it up, did a 180, and ended up with something great. But... not sure how I can recreat it! haha... it did have an entire bottle of brandy in it. :D (Don't worry, it was a small bottle)

no way, grapefruit and agave??? i just posted a recipe for my cranberry sauce on my blog, but it looks more like the non-jelly version you have pictured here. chunky cranberry sauce is the best. mmmm. glad yours turned out way better than the canned stuff!
